I like his voice, but I notice when he's doing narration like in Cider House or Labor Day, he *sounds* like he's reading along. All his delivery, which is very natural when he's performing goes stiff.

Actually, it was while was watching Labor Day last week that I had this sudden need to listen to him more. I guess I like that style - might be why I generally hate audiobooks
