there is a whole group of people in my fandom who does that (block people who disagree with them)
first they bait the wank in the tags with ship bashing and character bashing and then when the fans of that ship reply with counter-arguments, they block them so it seems that all the notes their posts get are people agreeing with them (including those who liked the reblogs of the ones they blocked)

I find it kinda pathetic tbh.
