to be fair, i DO ship them aged up and i guess it sorta ties into future fic speculation and crossovers for me?
apart from that... idk if it's tumblr demographics, but a lot of the people shipping it seem fairly young. in that sense the ship reminds me a lot of the time The Lorax came out and there was a bizarre amount of fic for the Onceler.
