Haha, it's always nice to meet a fellow Gwen fan! I understand why people didn't like her, but it still bummed me out that she was given so much over the top hatred by the fandom (often by Jack/Ianto fans who disliked the fact that Gwen and Jack flirted with each other). There are definitely plausible reasons to dislike her (like the fact that she committed infidelity) but I always thought it was kind of annoying that fans absolutely flayed her for those things while giving free passes to the other characters' shitty behavior (and, let's be honest, most of them were kind of terrible people at one point or another. hell, Owen's introduction in the show involved the implication that he likes to date rape people with alien perfume. Nice.) Ah, Torchwood fandom...I do not miss you tbh.
