I was deeply surprised he didn't feel bad over Nobu's death

Nobu paid great respect to Daredevil: he chose to take on the task of killing him personally, not sending some lackey or hitman. He commended DD on his skills and what an honor it was to fight someone on his level.
They fought and he died as equals and it felt out of place that Matt didn't feel the need to confess to the priest that he'd fought and killed a warrior, by necessity (and by the guys own choice to fight to the death) but still....
An anonymous note sent to the Nobu clan commending the bravery of their man would have been a nice touch, so that they'd know he went down swinging not just caught in a warehouse fire.
Daredevil was raised in Martial arts by his mentor, surely he knew the "etiquette" for such things. Nobu was treated as disposable by Fisk, it would have been a good touch for the story writers to have Matt not see Nobu as disposable in the same way.
