The movie isn't even "sjw-ish" at all - it's just a movie that has some actual badass and competent female characters. That's it. It shows that that's all you really need.
...but it's really about crazy rigs and crazy stunts and 2 hours of really great car chases.
If OP doesn't want to go, they're just being an idiot and missing out on a good film.
