I'm the same - US size 8 - and my favorites are Fruit of the Loom's Heather Cotton Hipsters (http://shop.fruit.com/Fruit-Loom-Womens-Heather-Hipsters/dp/B00HUS6VOO). They always cover my butt and don't move/slip throughout the day, plus they come in fun colors and cost $10 for a pack of six. If you do buy them or another product from the site, check the sizing chart - FOTL does a weird sizing of their own where like an "8" on their package actually means a size 12 (it's bizarre).

Actually I'm pretty sure that's what I bought in the US and they've lasted me the longest. lol I live in the UK now so don't really know the equivalent. But both in the UK and US, I've found that the bins in the underwear section where you pick them individually, those tend to be the crappy ones that don't fit. Maybe because they're "sexier"? 6-pack underwear for life. :-P

Haha, I'm in the US and the single "sexier" pairs in the bins are always so flimsy. I never buy them because I'm afraid they'll tear the first time I wear them. 6-pack underwear for life absolutely. *fist bump*

Hipsters are the best. They are low enough in the front to not show over pants while still being high enough not to fall down and to give a bit of support. They cover everything necessary and don't more or become uncomfortable.
