I really like this secret.

My kinks are pretty mainstream but I'm very fussy about the narrative style of my fics and I get incandescent with fury at writing that I find disappointing, so I also often resort to writing my own fics as well. I never thought I could write anything before this. It's really rewarding, and makes me feel creative and accomplished, and helps improve my spelling and grammar.

Taking a drawback, what I thought of as a personal failing, and turning it into a positive instead feels wonderful. It's lonely when there's all those stories out there by other writers but none of them feel like they were meant for someone like me.
