Anon, you're not fucking up.
You're new and inexperienced to the role, your team mates and managers should have been checking in with you to make sure you understood things, or had really thorough guides or just tried to be helpful - especially when you did ask for something because if they had shown you the protocol directly or something you'd "fuck up" less. You might have a crush on him, he might be a good technician but he's a shitty team player.

Also you are allowed to cry, everyone cries. You are not a weak cry baby, you're under pressure and have some depression/stress issues and it's perfect allowed to cry. Tim Hunt is a fucking idiot if he thinks only women cry over a bad day at work.

I want you to go have a nice cup of tea, park your ass in front of the computer and finish your report. Then hand it in, accept your penalties, apologise for the lateness and if you can: say you're having some personal issues but you've started seeing a therapist about it.

Also do you have a manger? Or a manger's-manager or head of lab or something? Talk to them, it can be the most general statement that you've been having some personal issues, you appreciate them letting you to continue to be there and you'll try to work at it better. Because chances are they know something is wrong, but a short conversation that you're trying will put them at ease.

Also, tell your therapist. Tell her everything, print your post out from here and hand it to her.
