(Anonymous) 2015-06-13 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)There's also the one guy on the pole who gets shot (with a shotgun or something) and there's a glimpse of exposed rib cage, but it's extremely brief and the camera doesn't really focus on it.
There's a just-offscreen c-section of a baby that's died and you see baby feet and the umbilical cord.
There's also a fair amount of blood flying when Joe gets his face ripped off, but you really don't have a clear view of anything and again, it's very fast.
The one time we see Joe's face after that, it's not at all a surprise that it's going to be revealed. It's the only clear gore shot in the movie and it's telegraphed ahead of time and it's over quick.
I think the most disturbing stuff is, as ketita pit it, "conceptual" rather than in your face gross. (Like the Bullet Farmer being blinded, the Keeper of the Seeds getting hit by the saw, the c-section, and many people being run over.
