nayrt, but isn't that actually subverting a trope? Usually, I'd say most stories have women as the emotional ones and the strong guys are more repressed. So if she's emotionally restrained and he's not, isn't that a bit different? I haven't seen the film, though, so I may be reading this entirely wrong.

Hmmm. I think both are a trope in different ways. Whatever the case, the movie didn't really strike me as particularly sexist. And she held her own pretty well for someone who is an administrator and not physically fit at all (although the running in heals rather than taking them off bugged me a little)
