I know they were invited.

That doesn't mean I welcome their presence. Hence, they're an invasion to me. They're disturbing my enjoyment of something I otherwise like.

I get disliking actors but I find it disturbing that you find their presence disturbing and like an invasion. That's kind of OTT op

Why? If you don't find someone's acting convincing and you don't like the actor on top of that, why wouldn't it feel invasive?

It brings me out of the film -- I never see the character and instead just end up seeing the actor and it ruins the moment.
