Re: Canon Couples You Would Have Liked If They'd Been Handled Better

I like them, but... I don't see a lot of chemistry on Amy's part. I can totally believe that Jake has feelings for Amy, but it's not like Jim and Pam or Ben and Leslie where the feelings were obviously very very mutual (if conflicted for different reasons). If we removed the kiss from the last episode and the fact that they're clearly meant to be endgame, I'd say that Amy likes Jake a lot and he's probably the one she's closest to, but you can be close to someone and not be in love with them. Gina's supposed to be close to Jake too. (Although I've never been clear on this one, because other than when they point out that Gina and Jake are childhood friends, I've never seen much indication that they have any sort of connection outside work.)
