Yes so much, especially to the gender determinism. While slash often forces the characters into the same tropes (because every relationship regardless must have the same two roles, right?), at least it is easier to imagine myself in whichever position I want or just enjoy the visuals without being annoyed that at how the women are written.

Plus, frankly, I like the more porny stuff, and most romance novels aren't nearly explicit enough for my taste. And so much erotica is dubconny or outright rapy without realizing it that I've become pretty selective about what I read.
