That's kind of a weird reason to not to have played games. My parents banned games so I bought consoles in secret, hid them, and pulled them out in the middle of the night to play. If you wanted to play them, you would have already.

It sounds like you're just not really into playing videogames... which is no big deal. You don't HAVE to do it. Going outside for a jog or something is probably more productive, anyway.

I shamelessly played games, both my own and my friends', until an age when I was embarrassed by my parents' very mild disapproval. I decided it was better to feign loss of interest in front of everyone from then on. I was an overly-sensitive kid in some ways when it came to my parents' approval.

But I agree with it being no big deal whether or not I start getting into them again. I plan to, but if it doesn't work out for whatever reason, then that's just how it is.
