I never got into gaming in my childhood/teens because my family couldn't afford the equipment. There was a Nintendo 64 some time in the 90s, and my brother's computer somewhere during that time as well, but even the little I was able to play, I was never good at most games.

Even now I don't play a lot of games but what I do, I play on computer (though I play Tetris on my 3DS), where I can cheat like all hell.

BTW, I recommend the Sims, and Bioware games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect.
