Well, there are many reasons people might not want kids. Don't like them, genetic medical problems, having abusive parents yourself who you don't want to end up copying, don't want that kind of stress in your life, and I'm sure there are others.

OP doesn't know if they're child-free. It was "how do they feel about kids? Are they (as an example) child-free and if so, why? are they [other possibilities]"?

Well, damn. I was never curious before, and now I AM.

SAME. I was so fascinated by all the travelling they do that I only recently realized they don't actually have any kids. I have a feeling it might just not be something they're interested in, they never seem to talk (well, tweet) about anything related to that, and if so, they are my marriage role models. Travelling around the world with my awesome partner and having a couple of pets to come home to (cats in my case, though)? Sign me the fuck up.
