After watching Guardians, I decided to make it a symbol for my wish to be part of a found family one day, and maybe go on a road trip with them.

I came to an opposite resolution over the last couple years. I'm done choking down foods that make me unhappy to eat. Things that I don't particularly care for are one thing but you don't know how much time I've spent trying not to gag for the sake of not seeming difficult. I'm done doing that just because people have this weird idea that the arrangement of a person's taste buds is tied into their maturity level.

Text: I play Pokemon at a very relaxed pace because I find escaping into the franchise’s game worlds therapeutic.

Secret because people I know mostly think I should have grown out of it ages ago. The ones who also still play aren’t as emotionally attached, and finish games much faster. And I’m not using it to deal with a specific condition. I’m just a sucker, oh well.

Yeah, I get you. I hate 'critics' who have no fucking clue about the games they're talking about and base their critiques on false facts. It gets a bit trickier when it comes to "what the developers said" because some of those word of God details are easier to miss. But if it's basic points from the game that they miss, so much that you have to ask if they actually ever played the game in the first place, they can't expect anyone to take them seriously anymore.

I currently work as a receptionist, and while typing emails, I often preface requests with "would you kindly".

It always makes me smile to do so, and I hope one day someone gets the reference (even though it's unlikely they'll point it out if they do, so I'd probably never know anyway)
