I'm not trying to sound like a different person, but how am I supposed to identify myself when I'm anon? I mean, I get AYRT, but I think that was rather obvious up above. FWIW, this was my only comment outside of the "pander-y" thread above. You seem rather defensive of this show.

I don't know about ayrt, but I personally have a bit of a kneejerk reaction when I hear people describe something as pandering. These days, I feel like the word gets applied to every show/movie/book with a cast that isn't 100% white and straight, so I get (unfairly) irritated as soon as someone says "pander." I don't usually say anything, though.

Haha, are you me? I do that too. I'm like, "ok but by that logic every other show is pandering to straight white dudes, why isn't that ever the direction of your 'pandering' accusations?
