I really enjoyed Pokemon when I was in middle school, and then when I was in 8th grade my classmates would laugh at people who played Pokemon, saying it was "babyish," so I moved away from playing it for a long time. I came back to it as an adult out of nostalgia, from seeing other people of my generation remembering it fondly and from the enthusiasm Twitch Plays Pokemon generated. My fiancee and I even put a Nintendo 3DS and Pokemon Y on our wedding registry. lol.

I picked it up again out of nostalgia too when I first heard about XY. Aww, that's great! I hope people still enjoy the franchise well into the future. And even if that doesn't happen, it still would have managed to give so many people enjoyment.
