Spoilers for The Lego Movie

[personal profile] cakemage 2015-06-18 03:48 pm (UTC)(link)
The Lego Movie. The main character was just so boring from start to finish, and I hated that Wildfire dumped Batman for his bland ass. Also, the plot was just a little too predictable for my tastes; it didn't feel like they did a whole lot that was new or unique. I liked the other characters, though, and I liked how President Business came around to the good side in the end. I also liked the bit at the very end where the little sister's Legos wanted to conquer their world. That was pretty funny. All in all, it's not that I hated it, it's that I expected too much going in and was kinda underwhelmed.
