It isn't just old, white guys who think that. One comedian I can think of is Chris Rock. He also avoids colleges because students these days seem to be addicted to being offended.

Did you read the student open letter that proved Seinfeld's point?

It was priceless.

Exactly. I've been hearing this across the board in the comedy circuit. College shows used to be many comedians' bread and butter but not any more. There seems to be a growing trend among students to find things in general and twist them into being offensive and post about them. Almost in a way to get cool "victim" points. It's almost a "if you are not complaining, you are part of the problem and we will write about you" bullying schtick.

Yeah, but after hearing about what their mom and dad loved in college twenty years ago most college kids now want something different with their own spin on it. Comedy, like everything else, changes and if comedians don't change with it then they get left behind.

I'm curious: What ARE the new trends in comedy that are being taken up by the college-age set?

Sure, maybe Seinfeld and Chris Rock are the old version. Can you give me an example of the new and upcoming?

Beats me, I'm far too old to understand the humor of the modern college kids. Different is all I can safely say.

Yep.

God, I'm so sick of this bullying bullshit. Not everyone has to be a foaming at the mouth SJW. What about some healthy middle-ground? Because if you'll forcefully shove your liberal agenda down people's throats then you are a dictator, violating America's fundamental right- freedom.
