Then you'd be better off approaching people who you know read both these authors and already voiced that opinion of GRRM rather than randomly polling people. I mean, if you're going to be a zealot about policing other people for hypocrisy, it helps to do your homework.

I don't know what movie this is referring to, but I can relate to gross creeplord. I'm definitely there when it comes to a few fanfic tropes.

What is a gross creeplord? Is that someone who compares fanfiction to rape? If that's the case, then yes. Yes, she is.

NGL, this is where my mind went too.

If she has almost every male character get raped or get threatened with rape or mentions nameless BG male characters getting raped while female characters face nothing of the sort even in contexts where it would happen, then yes, she is a GRRM tier gross creeplord.

No, her female characters get raped too. And after a female character gets gang raped, her husband has sex with her, too, in case she gets pregnant so they can pretend it's his.

How...does that even make sense? I'm not really asking. They wouldn't HAVE to have sex! They could just agree to lie about it together. o.O

pretty much all of her book fans know and acknowledge that she's a "gross creeplord" so your attempt to find hypocrisy here kinda fails

Yeah, it's the most uncomfortable rape scene I've seen in any show or movie. But it was like watching a graphic hurt/comfort fic come to life with high production values.

H/C/rape in fic really isn't my kink, though I've read enough to realize it isn't, and there was just nothing I could compare that scene to except H/C fic.

I don't think anyone's uploaded it anywhere, mostly because it's not just one single scene.

The torture/rape happens in episodes 15 and 16 if you're interested (yes, it goes on for 2 episodes). It's very graphic and you won't likely ever forget seeing it.

ummm... I watch festival films so it's probably gonna get blurred out somewhere between visitor Q, pan's labyrinth, and promised land... and all the other stuff. I'm expecting to be underwhelmed, which is why I want to see it.
