Yeah, but usually that only works if there are canon cracks in the relationship. Their relationship seemed pretty solid. Not to mention they have kids and one on the way so writing around that would be difficult.

I'd feel like a homewrecker trying to take away their happy peaceful farm life.

I'd say the cracks are already there over Clint's job. I could see them separating later down the line after Clint has one too many brushes with death.
