(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)They're all by me too.
I tend to get obsessed when I find something new to indulge in.
Just got the TE Lawrence biography I ordered online too. Soooo excited to start reading. God help me and you poor fools who will have to put up with my crazy obsession.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)It feels SUPER weird to me to get into a fandom based on a real person, though.
But Lawrence's writing is so...pretty. And lyrical. And I've always loved history and now I get to indulge it.
The one thing that makes me so sad, though, is that Sharif Ali isn't a real person because then I could dig more into HIS background.
There isn't much on Faisal, sadly BUT I did see one biography:
http://www.amazon.com/Faisal-I-Iraq-Ali-Allawi/dp/0300127324/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1434832076&sr=1-4&keywords=prince+faisal
It's quite recent, which makes me SOOO happy but it's rather expensive so I'm hoping that if I wait, I can pick it up used for a bit cheaper.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)(Oh, look, someone reprinted the book that was originally printed in limited numbers and then possibly mostly destroyed by an offended person... and it starts at $255 on Amazon, oh goody!)
