I've considered doing this a time or two. I have commented on my own threads but just to answer the question I asked. Sometimes I feel like commenting to my comment to get a conversation going, so maybe someone else chimes in.

And sometimes I do hold two different POVs on a topic and I could argue with myself but I haven't done that yet. Mostly I comment to myself if my topic looks lonely.

Far weirder things have happened, anon. I've heard of this pairing before, but I have no idea how popular it is.

Since we're talking about Mass Effect shipping, I've always liked the idea of f!Shep/Tali (unrequited or otherwise) and Shepard/Legion (unrequited only, tbh). Tali and Legion could've had an interesting relationship though, if it had been explored further.

i never played it but i had a random issue of some old gaming magazine where they were doing a being feature preview story back in the day all about the world and the aesthetic and all that, so I always kind of rooted for it

to clarify for anyone unfamiliar with the show who doesn't know which OTP OP is referring to, Garnet (the character in the secret) is actually a fusion of two other gems (sapphire and ruby) who are very heavily implied on the show (and confirmed irl) to be in a romantic relationship, so Garnet herself is the OTP.
