DA

I mean, I'm just pretty uncomfortable with the implication that ~queer people~ play a significant role in upholding heteronormativity, and with the idea that you're "promoting heterosexuality" if you're in a gay relationship where one of you is perceived as the man and the other as the woman.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-21 03:48 pm (UTC)(link)
like i said not all queer people but the heteronormative ones

i did not say the majority were heteronormative or that they were a significant portion of queer people or that it was a good thing it happens but you can't keep saying they do not exist like these anons do

promotion heterocentric norms, not sexuality

So you do think that ~heteronormative queers~ play a significant role in upholding heternormativity.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-21 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
no, but i think they exist at all, unlike the anons above

(Anonymous) 2015-06-21 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
That's quite the assumption.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-21 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
not for me. if i never had to run into another man who thought getting their dick sucked by a man is a-ok but sucking another man's dick is gay and makes them a pussy again, i'd be happy tbh. i dont know what cultures you come from but i'd honestly love to live where all of you live.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-21 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
That's quite the assumption about what my comment meant.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-21 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
you're anon, i don't know which comments are yours. unless they're all yours??

someone literally asked what a heteronormative queer person was and what an example was, i don't think assuming they were implying they don't really exist was farfetched

you seem to be mixing up internalized homophobia/misogyny with heteronormativity.

a gay guy who refuses to bottom because it makes him girlier/gayer/lesser has internalized homophobia.
