Oh god yes! I don't necessarily want a remake. Just an upscale of the graphics. I always tend to call FF9 the game that everyone ignores and is, to me, an absolutely underappreciated gem. It's one of my top 5 RPGs of all time.

And as far as FF7, they'd save a bit of time by hiring some of the guys on the Qhimm forums. The work that they've been doing for the original game is astounding, especially the retranslation project. Otherwise, I have no good feelings about the announcement of the FF7 remake.
