Have you seen the latest Transformers cartoon, Robots in Disguise, the main female character is the same "blocky" body type as the rest of the cast. Sure she has a girly voice, but in looks and behaviours she is just as robotic as the rest of the guys.

Strongarm is also really adorable in that show ("Earth has so many rules! I love rules!"). One of my favourite gags is Sideswipe constantly ribbing on her, and that she is more heavy set for strength compared to him (who ends up being more light/agile in comparison to the rest).
