You kind of sound like a jerk, and this is coming from someone who would definitely have preferred an 8 remake (the lowest of FFs, or so I've been told multiple times).

Still gonna be preordering this shit tho.

I liked 8, I think a remake of that would be neat. I've always disliked 2 the most, but I am one of those people who has never been able get a hang the leveling system for 2.

VIII seems to have gotten a reappraisal recently...or else the complainers stopped bothering and the people who liked it are no longer drowned out.

I'm glad for this, because man do I get sick of people telling me my favorite game sucks.

Same. I don't know if it's my favourite, but I really seem to love the most hated FFs - IIIj, VIII, X-2, XII.... I suspect I'll like XIII when I get around to playing it. I do love the well-liked ones, too, but generally find them over-rated.

Yeah, 8 and 12 are my faves. I quite liked 13 too! I'm playing type 0 right now and am enjoying it. :3

8 is the 2nd worst game I ever played, but I wouldn't mind a remake that fixed its utterly broken mechanics.

I've never had any problems with its mechanics. I wouldn't want anything changed, I would just like for it to be prettier.
