I've got nothing to say except I am following the news, but am not super-hyped (7 was never that important to me, I can't afford a PS4) and yes turn based, please. Admittedly I haven't played a single Final Fantasy after 9, so idk how they're doing it these days, but I really liked the turn-based system, and it would be super-sad if it's gone.

oh, I can't afford a PS4 either. I hope in say 10 years they'll deign to make a PC port...
I'm pretty sure FFXV is open-world and real-time system. I don't mind the remake of FFVII having a more open world, but I hope they don't use FFXV's engine for it and let us keep the turn-based.

Yes, if they make a PC port, I might get it. Although I have a friend who's such a huge fan that he just might that PS4 solely for that. Maybe I can go to his place and watch him play, and then I'll finally know what the fuss is about. I played it first with my brother as a wee thing, I knew like 10 words in English, so I didn't understand a single thing except that chocobo-racing was the best. I don't think we ever got through the whole game either.

While I do enjoy real-time based combat systems, I've noticed that turn-based just works better for me. I do loads of stupid mistakes when I have to act quickly. And I'm awful at dodging.
