(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)Snack food: Nachos are definitely good. A bit of popcorn can be nice and maybe some cookies halfway through or so.
Bonus edition: cherry slurpee and a box of Buncha Crunch. this is what I get whenever I go see a movie at a megaplex-type think.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)When I actually go to the movies I usually just get a large soda that I share with whoever I'm there with (my husband or sister or whoever) and some twizzlers or chocolate covered gummy bears :P

(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)Also Nibs. They totally taste different when you buy them at the concession, vs. off the shelf at the grocery.
Re: Movie Night Food
If I'm not being lazy and a porker though, I'll actually slice up sticks of cucumber and celery.

This is verboten, it's a betrayal of the spirit of movies IMO
Re: Movie Night Food
But but but they are crunchy and keep me hydrated so I don't have to reach over twice as much to get a drink. I'm sorry for my lack of diligence, movie night spirit. I'll take whatever curse comes my way :(

(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)OMG that stuff is the best and they don't have it here! :( *cries*
I grew up LOVING it but then we moved and here, it's ... not a thing. :(
Re: Movie Night Food
(Anonymous) 2015-06-20 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)sour candy is a must
as for quenching my thirst... I'll take carbonated water (with LOTS of bubbles so it almost hurts) or beer
Re: Movie Night Food
Sometimes a bottle of wine to go with. Rarely, popcorn or chips or something.
Other times, just a cup of tea. We aren't really huge snackers during movies or gaming.
