My secret is that I really like Chibi-Usa from the original anime. Such a cutie.

I liked her when I first saw the show when I was super young (like 7 or 8), but she got on my nerves a lot when I rewatched the show as an adult (well, a lot of the characters did tbf)

Weirdly enough it's the other way around for me. I feel like I've become more "maternal" as I've gotten older so I find characters like Chibi-Usa endearing rather than annoying. It also probably helps that I'm watching the original Japanese version now instead of the English dub (for me, anyways)

Different Anon. I feel the same way, I watched the english dub then the japanese version when I was young, the japanese version helped her grow on me but she still wasn't my favorite.

I appreciate her more as an adult though especially with her struggles to grow and fit in. I like her relationship with Usagi in the original anime too, it felt like a real family bond.

I watched Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon for the first time as an adult, and I really liked Chiba-Usa, too! I thought she was kinda trying sometimes, yes, but I liked her arc and I thought she was compelling.

Maybe it was because I was expecting something a lot more terrible than what I got, but I think she's fine in the original anime.

Crystal, unfortunately, I really do just kind kinda boring as a whole.
