I'm so glad someone said this. I told someone that I didn't know the eye colors of any of my friends including my boyfriend of many years and they were incredulous. "Where do you look when you speak to them?", they asked, and I was like, what the frig does that matter? It annoyed me, so I'm glad someone has said this here.

"Where do you look when you speak to them?"

Not OP, but I look at the people when I talk to them. But if I consciously notice their eyes, then it feels like I'm peering at them too closely and it's creepy. I'm not a big sustained-eye-contact person.

I know my mom's eyes are blue, because most of my family has bluish eyes of some sort. Aside from calling them "bluish", I'm not sure of the exact shades of my siblings' eyes.

I think my best friends have bluish eyes, but they could be brownish.

I notice very striking eyes - very light or very dark. Otherwise, I don't notice.
