Interesting. I sort of felt the opposite way about it--that yes, people criticised her for these things, but she didn't back down, and the narrative itself didn't crap on her for that--it crapped on her re: capitalism, but not sexism as much. Like, when Owen was like "you cannot run through a forest wearing those clothes. You just...can't" she was like "fuck yes i can." And she kept the same outfit and shoes the whole time, because yeah, she can. (Though did anyone else notice that her skirt's hem got magically looser and easier to move in as the scenes went on? Super funny.)
