I liked both movies, but honestly, I have never been more bored by a character than I was by Chris Pratt's one-dimensional snooze-fest in JW.

And I love Chris Pratt.

I couldn't even say I was bored by Max...he was just sort of there and cool things happened around him. But JW constantly reinforced that CP's character was so cool and so strong and so awesome and bad-ass and we're all supposed to worship him (like the two kids), but really, he was dull as shit.
