Finally able to reply to this because DW wasn't allowing me to login with my open ID for some reason??? Either way yes I saw Josh in Thor and ugh god he is attractive all the time, and just..yes.

I know I love Ginnifer's haircut, and I could technically pull off any hairstyle because of the shape of my head, but idk I'm not sure if I'm ready to go so short yet?? Like I've gone short, but not that short, like pixie short or anything. Lana is just, damn girl I have no words for how beautiful she is, they dress her so well on that show, also the makeup is great too! I like Regina for the most part, but she can still do some problematic things.

I use tumblr in phases, I mostly let my queue do the work, but I do use the message system plenty. I am a multi-fandom blog as well (beware it's got some spn on there lmao), I wasn't always though so you might be getting the better end?? LMAO. (I'm sookiesh there btw)

I'm about to start s4 because I'm still catching up and I can't remember where exactly I left off in s4, I just know I didn't finish it. I love the first 2 seasons definitely, and Colin O' Donaghue in that show jfc he's attractive???

If you have the facial structure for such a cut and enjoy the style then I say go for it! But I understand where you're coming from because I need a haircut desperately yet I'm afraid to get one.

I wish I had Lana's everything but I would make do with her team of stylists...her makeup really is on point. Her wardrobe is stuff (for the most part) I couldn't pull off, but I absolutely love it. It's stunning and she always looks the part.

I think I would miss my long hair too much to go all the way short, idk I'm still thinking about it. I definitely just need a trim in general, my ends are looking terrible and even after I wash my hair it looks so messy.

Ugh Lana is just so pretty, whenever I see her post on IG I just cry because she's so beautiful lmao. I want all of Regina's outfits tbh and I feel like I could pull them off, but I don't have her rockin' bod so probably not lmao.

Aww, I had a message typed up and hit send but DW is telling me you can't receive the message because your email address hasn't been confirmed. I'm not even sure if you can do such a thing without an actual account? ...Can you even edit settings from your LJ account (on DW)? This is a confusing process.

The good thing about haircuts is that of course your hair will grow back. The back thing being if you don't like the cut then you have to wait for that to happen, and in the meantime you're stuck hating the way you look. It's a gamble, which is probably why I've waited so long as well. Maybe one day...

I know from experience that it's bad for your sense of self to compare yourself to beautiful celebs, lol. However, I still find myself looking at people like Hayley Atwell and going, "Shit, what I wouldn't give to have a body like that." And the outfits, yes! Who knows though, you might be able to pull off those kind of clothes...never know until you try! (Where would one even get those kind of clothes though? lol.)

Tumblr is an endless abyss of pretty art and gifs. Sometimes I find it hard to get away from it, and sometimes I'm on for five minutes and don't touch it for the rest of the day. Lately I've just been queuing a shitton of stuff when I go on so I feel bad for you and everyone else who has the misfortune to follow me...

Every time we have a thread on tumblr here at DW I complain about how tumblr is not LJ and how DW is not LJ (because even if DW is awfully similar in execution, the numbers don't add up; it isn't popular as LJ used to be, back when LJ was 'the place to be' in fandom). I miss the ease of finding people with similar interests and conversing with them. Maybe one day there will be another social media platform that is a bit closer to LJ in spirit and that platform will blow up, but as of now we just have to make due, I guess.

This comment is making me wish Colin would show up in a different tv show or movie. (He IS nice to stare at.) Not saying he shouldn't be on OUAT, just that I've never seen him in anything else and I'm not fond of Hook as a character. Maybe soon!

Yeah I kind of want to do the Natalie Dormer look in Mockingjay or Rosario Dawson's hair in Netflix's Daredevil. Like shave one side a bit and then keep the other side long?? Or just do like a super cool short pixie cut with maybe a longer side one side. IDK I just know I want silver hair. I hope you can get yours done soon!

Yeah I know I shouldn't compare myself to anyone, and it sucks that I still do unfortunately. But yeah I have no idea where I would find outfits like that either, lol they're pretty specific.

I totally agree obviously, I definitely miss the simplicity of LJ and finding people with similar interests and actually discussing it with them. I feel like people don't actually like to discuss things on tumblr in detail, it'd be too much effort or something. Also reddit was the next LJ apparently but that shitshow is going away real soon.

Yea, I know how that is. I have accounts on almost every major site (even if some of them are old, and I haven't used them in years and years) and don't like making new ones. I'm not as into social media as I used to be... There are so many other things to do with your time, lol.

I genuinely love the half shaved look. Rosario Dawson rocked the hell out of her hair in Daredevil! (And of course Natalie is lovely no matter what.) Either way I'm sure there's lots of options available, you just might need to research a bit! (Silver hair is gorgeous. I used to be a massive fan back in my anime days, lol.)

I suppose if you had the money and the skill you could make them yourself...but that does indeed take a lot of time and cash. I'm not talented enough to make clothing, but I'm sure it's a skill that would come in handy. (And well worth learning, again, if you have the time and availability.)

We all fail in that area sometimes. I'm glad you tag, though! I love when people tag; it makes stuff easy to find, which is a must for me. (I still follow people who don't tag, but I generally prefer people who do. I'm not even attempting to find anything on your blog if you don't tag, that shit is impossible.)

I think because of the nature of tumblr, it makes in depth discussion difficult so people don't even try. If you really want to start a conversation with someone it takes a lot of effort. It's a mess. Finding other people's comments is a pain as well because you have to scroll through a shitload of notes, and most people comment in tags anyway because doing so in the post is considered 'rude'. Tumblr is weird and doesn't lend to a sense of real community. Reddit was a fun platform if you found the right subreddit, but honestly a lot of the userbase were assholes. lol.

I'm not a Hook fan, no. He's def hot and I can see where the appeal of his type of character comes from, but he just rubs me the wrong way. TBH I disliked half of OUAT's cast (despite enjoying the show and the performances) and the people I did like nobody cared about so I didn't fit in that fandom at all, lmao.

Well plus I've been on LJ for 8 years and I've got a bunch of journal entries over there so starting a journal thing here would be pointless to me?? But at least you get what I mean (: although it is weird commenting and not having an icon. Since I'm an icon maker it's just so adglhladkg to me lmao. I actually do know how to sew, I'd just have to the layout for the clothing and the print or whatever you call it so I could sew it correctly. I haven't actually made clothes in a long time, and I do have the time for it, just not the money these days. Maybe I will pick it up again some day!

Yeah tumblr just isn't made for discussing things really, it's more like "everybody make a post about their opinion and see who likes it" kind of thing. It's not really a discussion, it's more like "who likes my opinion the most??" kind of thing. Hence why I miss LJ, cause this is how it used to be, threads like this! Also yeah that's why I stayed away from reddit because literally everyone was an asshole almost.

Eight years is a long time! I've had an account for longer than that, but I haven't actually used said account for many of them. All my LJ friends moved on to other sites. :/ Haha, see, that's a major incentive for me to have accounts anywhere...I love icons. I can't comment without them. I noticed your (lovely, btw!) icons when I went over to your LJ! You can't upload one at all? (You have an icon page, it's just empty. Guess it doesn't work?) That's reasonable! I don't like to tempt myself with things I can't have...too often. But where do you live that silver hair is everywhere? I want to go there and marvel at everyone. As far as that goes, I just find all kinds of grey and white to look really dignified too.

Haha, well...in a sense I understand the tumblr mentality, because even getting a like is kind of nice when you're talking about something you care about, but a like is much different than an actual conversation. Unless tumblr changes something big it's always going to be full of mindless reblogging. (Which, again, I enjoy, but the platforms and experiences are major contrasts.)

The Dragon Age subreddit was excellent! So I kind of hope reddit pulls their shit at least somewhat together...even if I don't visit often (lol, understatement). I liked that community.

The mains that everybody finds annoying or boring, lmao. Snow, Charming, Emma, then Ruby, Archie, and Neal. I really loved the whole Aurora/Mulan storyline too, and Graham was good...while he lasted. So was August and frankly I was hella creeped out by how the show handled his story.

I live in California right now, I might be going back to Wisconsin soon (where I was born and lived all of my life except the last four months, I just need help getting there ): ). Wisconsin doesn't have many silver-haired people that's for sure lol so I'd be sticking out back there. I would do white, but I think that I might just have white highlights in the grey lol.

I actually don't know how to sew a button back onto a shirt or jacket that well LOL! But yeah sewing is not simple at all, they actually taught us how to sew by hand in my school when I was in 7th grade (middle school). Yeah definitely a great skill, but I am also definitely rusty at it lol.

Yes agreed on the scrolling endlessly, I have to do that so much all the time, it drives me crazy and I definitely don't have time for it! Also the mindless reblogging and then the arguing that comes along with it sometimes has also driven me away from tumblr. I use it still, but I prefer LJ again, and am hoping that it revives again someday.

I do like the nosleep and letsnotmeet subreddit so far and that's it, I still haven't looked around much on that site because I've heard such terrible things lol. But I have also heard that there are good subreddits, so I'm tempted.

Ooo, California! I've never been to California, but from what I've seen it's absolutely beautiful. I'm sure there's lots of gorgeous people there too, so that's a plus? Lots of variety, so yea, your silver hair might not stand out. I hope everything works out for you if you do end up moving again!

In our school it wasn't until high-school home ec that we were 'taught' to sew. We never spent long in class practicing though and most people got jack shit out of it. Only a few actually got around to making some type of clothing and everyone else fucked around, lol. Oh school. But yea, I don't imagine it's easy!

Which fandoms do you see arguing in? I always hear about that kind of thing but don't really experience it because I mostly keep to myself. I have occasionally noticed some of the people I follow get into spats (because someone was an asshole to them, usually without reason), but they're a bit more involved with tumblr, I think. I find tumblr intimidating for that reason too. You can have good intentions, but sometimes people will blow up for nothing.

Nosleep seems to be a popular one! I've only visited a couple times but they seemed to have some cool stories. I like a nail polish subreddit...and sometimes the gaming one isn't completely horrible (sometimes), but there are a lot of options. Some subreddits are worse than others.

I felt SO bad for August...he was creepy as hell as Pinocchio tbh. And to be an adult then to turn back into a child? Uh, no thanks. I don't know what happened to him after that, but I was pretty upset on his behalf.

This is actually the second time I've been to California, last time was NorCal though in San Jose, this time I'm down by L.A. in the desert. Yes there are beautiful people, but there are beautiful people everywhere lol, and there are ugly people here as well?? We had home ec in high school too, but it wasn't mandatory so I didn't end up taking it, which I'm kind of sad about tbh. Yeah it was our sophomore year that we got to choose between four classes or something and you could only take two, and that was one of them and I didn't choose it for some reason.

Well I have been on tumblr since it's beginning, so about 5+ years, off and on. But my main fandom for that whole time was always Supernatural, so I've seen plenty of fights within that fandom. I've been in a rare few, but not for a long time have I participated. Each fandom has mindless arguing though and I tend to ignore it as well, I keep to myself mostly now. I have over 2k followers so yeah lol I try not to make a mess of my blog anymore, just pretty and funny stuff.

Yeah nosleep is definitely popular, I love creepypastas and scary stories! Otherwise I don't venture into reddit, especially now since crazy stuff has been going down and people are getting fired.

Wow, you have a shitload of followers! I have under a 100, lol, I am not tumblr popular. (Which in the long run is probably a good thing as it means you're less likely to get random hate.) SPN fandom was my favorite fandom back near the beginning of the show (the LJ version, that is) but it's always been pretty crazy. Lots of super enthusiastic and opinionated people, and as the show went on it seems to have just gotten more wanky.

It was a bit out of left field...maybe that's why it bothered me so much. That, and, again, the thought of changing from an adult to a child is kind of unsettling to me.

I'm still in fandom but not much anymore, I haven't finished s10 because I was just like "meh" about it and got distracted by other things and shows. I will eventually, but not anytime soon, probably before the next season though and when I crave Wincest, because duh. Wincest. Yeah I've been stuck at just over 2k for a while, probably because I haven't made any tumblr sized grahics or gifs in a while, also because I changed my blog from spn to multi-fandom. I also terribly miss the early days of the SPN fandom on LJ, I was heavily into it and it was wonderful. But then tumblr started and even right before that, it was just getting more and more opinionated and just not the same.

Yeah the whole Pinocchio thing just makes me sad to think about I'm with Emma when she said "That still weirds me out" or however she said it, but she didn't like it either.

I don't think I've watched past season seven so you def made it further than me. Dean and Sam were the reason I loved the show so much in the first place and I didn't have a problem with their being a growing supporting cast, but after that point I did feel like Dean and Sam themselves weren't as important to the show. I didn't dig the main plot anymore. (Some of my favorite fic is old Wincest though, so I feel you on that. Jensen and Jared are great together. Fucked up, but that's part of the appeal to me.)

Tumblr is kind of fickle about follows, I think. I've heard if you aren't churning out new content on a regular basis that some people will unfollow you, but I've also seen the opposite, where if you post too much people will unfollow you. I say just do what you want and don't worry about followers.

Season 7 is the season that saved me after my ex broke up with me..it was pretty bad, but yeah I enjoyed s8 and 9 as much as I could, but only because of wincest. LOL I'm determined like that. But yeah the plot and characters have just got..yeah not consistent. I love older Wincest fic, I have so many lol.

I have thought about doing rainbow, I will keep it in mind definitely, I love doing my hair so I'm sure I will! (I don't see much crazy hair, but I do every now and then, even back home and it was pretty unique and cool).
