A lot of 80s movies in general bother me. That decade is weird. There's a lot of "no means yes" romances for instance. Or worse. Like Harrison Ford in Blade Runner.

But Harrison Ford in Blade Runner, or rather his character, doesn't pretend to be sane and sound. He's canonically losing it, professionally and privately.

See above. He's basically screwloose. Read the book, and it's much more clear that the character is pretty much in his own special circle of hell.

...plus there's the whole issue of her not even being human in the first place.

Yeah, but, as anon said, the scene isn't written that way. It shouldn't be up to the viewer to read an entirely different source to understand the characters' emotions.

between that aspect of it and Daryl Hanna killing a guy by beating him in the head with her crotch, ya think somebody had a teeny lil issue with women??
