I just watched a couple of '70s movies and I REALLY like those flared jeans and the men's shaggy long hair and big sideburns. I also really think flared jeans are an incredibly good fit for the body type of the average male human being, provided they're not too huge.

How about you?

High-waisted jeans. I just feel better when my fat isn't muffin-topping, and high-waisted jeans accommodate that.

Yes! Or at least jeans that go to your actual waist. I'm sick of low riding jeans that slide down and don't fit right because they are designed to be worn at the hips rather than the waist. And I hate my underwear showing.

They look especially cute when you have a top that kind of bells out from the jean waist.

I am high-waisted and I totally hate low rider jeans!!! So uncomfy!

Seconding '70s fashions! I especially like the big afros and jewfros black guys and white guys lucky enough to have thick curly hair would sport. Mmmmmm.

Also 1960s miniskirts and go-go boots, and lots of other '60s makeup and hairstyles for women.

Whatever style was in Death Comes to Pemberley and Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (which I watched back to back today).

I especially love the Empire-waistered dresses for women, and the long duster-coats on men.

I love 70s men's fashion, but find women's fashion hit-or-miss. For women, I like basically everything from 1900 up through the 60s.

Shorts on men that aren't cargo shorts or giant baggy knee-length jeans or athletic shorts that are so huge they're about to fall off.

I've always loved bell-bottoms.

i'll always admire the hell out of 1930s-50s hairstyles and clothing.

Furside in shoes. Aka uggboots, sheep skin slippers etc.

Warmest. Feet. Ever.

I love the clothing for Georgian/Regency era, especially the men's clothing. Tailored waistcoats and long jackets, ooh yes!

I love corsets. Not that I want women to be forced to wear them or that I want them cinched in to the point of pain. But I love the way I look in them and I love wearing them. I can't wait until I can actually afford a good one that is made with something other than plastic.

That said, personally, i really liked the padded shoulder thing of the 80's. Tapered jeans a jacket with big shoulders had that kind of 'doublet and hose' silhouette that I thought was really neat.

90s blonde hair. Straight cut, no layers, and so puffy! How the heck did they do that? Half the reason I'm watching 3rd Rock from the Sun is for Sally's hair.

Sneakers with big heels. Mostly because I'm short as fuck and the added height was kind of nice.

...Also because I find them cute.

I want flared 70s jeans back because they balance out my body shape. I refuse to wear skinny jeans. :P

This is pretty specific but does anyone remember the gorgeous clothing in the Anne of Green Gables movies? I loved those. :)

I know they've been passe for eons, but I still love Tommy Hilfiger polos. I've been a fan since my mid-teens. Yeah, I'm in my 30s now. *facepalm*

I miss the Gunne Saxe dresses that used to be popular in the late 70s.

anything from the 60s/early 70s except miniskirts because you have to have perfect legs and almost no one does. Also, you have to sit down or pick up things sometimes.

70s fashion is hugely in this season fyi
