However, I really, really, really hated Joy. She was so obnoxious and horrible to Sadness. She was like the combination of a bully with one of those people who is extremely happy all the time for no reason. I spent most of the movie wanting to punch her. So it was hard to completely enjoy the movie when the main character was so unlikeable.
Sure, she redeemed herself in the end. But that didn't make up for what she did earlier.

Yes, it wasn't very subtle, but I still enjoyed those parts.
