Thanks for the link, but I'm not really comfortable doing that. It's easy to ask here, where everything can be 100 percent anonymous. But this isn't a question I want tied to my strictly offline or strictly online email addresses, and I'm just not up for dealing with another.

Nah you could go real generic with it.

"What sort of information gets passed on to the Creator if I become a Patron? Do they get my full name? Is it the same name on the credit card? If I use my Mom's credit card, will they see her name instead of mine?"

They're legit enough concerns without any gender related issues too.
