How about we just let the people who enjoy the show continue watching it and people who prefer the books just drop the show and masturbate with their GRRM masterpieces?

I am perfectly satisfied with the HBO version and enjoying every episode. Though book readers are kind enough to never let me be misinformed about WHAT NEVER HAPPENED IN THE BOOKS and how it's so blasphemous the show is and that we should burn the writers at the stake. It's SUCH A BIG FUcKING DEAL!!!!1

Attention all show watchers, stop enjoying the show!! It's doing it WRONG! Down with D&D, the usurpers!

Holy shit, why are GoT fans so defensive? Why can't you just accept that some people dislike the show because, let's be honest here, the writing isn't that good and not because OMG IS DIFFERENT FROM THE BOOKS!!!?

>"B.. B.. But that didn't happen in muh books!"
>"Wait a minute, th.. that didn't happen e.. either..."
>"MUH STANNIS!!"

>mfw bookfags got absolutely #REKT this season

GoT is now 100% ours; a show made by showfags FOR showfags
How does this make you feel bookfaggots?

Yeah, that's what I thought.
Cry more.

Did you get lost on your way to /got/, showpleb?

Some of us think the writing in the books is lousy too. Especially the last two novels, which read as if GRRM's editor wrested the first draft out of his hands without barely even allowing a copy-edit.

I agree with this and I haven't read the books. It's always been pretty boring to me except for a few arcs and after a while I started skipping like 80% of the episodes, so I gave up.

Straw man arguments all over, but boy, are you getting into those.

A storyline reliant on raping female characters; a storyline cutting out women left and right; a storyline making the already-terrible race issues of the often-terrible books even worse is a bad storyline: It's derivative, disgusting, and cheap.

I bet you like True Detective.
