DA. What shit? Peter is white, Miles and 2099whatshisname are not. They are only making movies about Peter as long as he's the only name that the general public will recognize. Go watch the new FF, if it's so important to have old characters race-switched.

We can't rest until all characters are race switched. We need to make it so that all old characters are POC or women and that all new characters are white men. Because that makes sense.

What does your Spiderman even mean? There's one Spiderman, and he's a character owned by Marvel Comics. Your fanfic is great, but it doesn't actually influence the decisions they make with their character.

Spiderman does not have to be white. Peter Parker is white. Spiderman as a whole is not necessarily so. Miles is my favorite Spiderman. (I mean, not that I was expecting a Miles version, but just pointing out that there is a difference between Peter Parker and Spiderman.)

Not to the general audience it isn't. Most people will only recognise the Peter Parker name and associate it with Spiderman. And it's amazing that so many people don't get that those movie studios are businesses. They can't afford to make a multi-million $ movie about a version of Spiderman that nobody knows.
