Sara/Gil

I can get a lot of relationships but I don't understand the appeal of this and I certainly don't understand it's popularity. Sara and GIl are such different people but not in an opposites-attract kind of way. She came off a little bit stalkerish to me. He didn't seem to notice her in a romantic way (not like he noticed Lady Heather), and looked a little boxed in when she pushes the issue. She never seemed to see or understand his way of thinking, and never seemed to try.

They felt like the things they wanted were kind of at opposition with each other. They never worked for me as a couple.

Sara/Gil is popular? O.o

Even the canon didn't speak to me so I never ventured into the fandom, but wow. I agree with your take on the pairing, too.

Agreed. She seemed kinda hero-worshippy and he seemed oblivious and not at all interested. I used to say that I didn't really care if my ships were canon (actually, I really do prefer that they are not) and that I don't care which ship is canon, but that show proved to me that I actually do care if I ship I dislike becomes canon. That ship wrecked the show for me and I stopped watching.

Same here. I thought Sara and Greg would've been much better together on so many levels.
