Writing, definitely writing. Probably occasionally while speaking as well, although no one has ever complained about that, so I guess I'm doing okay on that front.

Most people probably don't notice if you pronounce it incorrectly. B and P sound pretty similar when talking.

It sucks, but you will likely just have to memorize which words use which letter. It doesn't sound like you have dyslexia (if those are the only 2 letters you are mixing up), it is just being unfamiliar with the B vs P.

Bleh. :( I guess I need to start to make a list of all of the words that get mixed up. There's just so many of them, that I feel I'll never be at the point where I don't make those mistakes.

Well, I guess it's time to embrace that fault as something I'll never get rid of completely.

I wouldn't worry too much. You are descriping one of the more common spelling errors made by native English speakers. Especially on the Rapid/Rabid spelling.

AYRT
It just bothers me because it's one of those patterns that I've noticed. It's almost guaranteed that any English text of mine has at least one of those mistakes.

But I didn't know it was common, even among natives. I guess that makes me feel a bit better.
