I wouldn't worry too much. You are descriping one of the more common spelling errors made by native English speakers. Especially on the Rapid/Rabid spelling.

It just bothers me because it's one of those patterns that I've noticed. It's almost guaranteed that any English text of mine has at least one of those mistakes.

But I didn't know it was common, even among natives. I guess that makes me feel a bit better.
