McShep. I get it, I just hate John Sheppard.

MCU Steve/Tony. I just think they're both way more interesting when paired with other people.

Duncan/Methos. I'm not even completely sure why I don't like it, but I don't. In friendship terms I can see what they give each other, but in romance I really don't.

TOS Kirk/Spock. I get it so very much, and I adore them as friends, but my first love will always be Spock/McCoy and I have to confess to a certain amount of dislike towards KS for eclipsing SMc so very very thoroughly.

Jack/Bunny. Jack/Pitch I can roll with, though it's not my favourite, but Jack/Bunny just seems to attract all my least favourite tropes.

Pretty much every major OUAT ship by this stage. They've all just gone pear-shaped (with the possible exception of Snow/Charming). Special mention to Hook/Emma, but I loathed that from its conception and the point probably doesn't need any more belaboring.

Out of curiosity, why do you hate John? I'm not criticizing you or anything; I just don't normally see that opinion in fandom and I'm interested (I think I've seen a ton of hate for just about every character that's NOT John, haha)

In general he just rubs me the wrong way, his surface laid-back attitude annoys me (even knowing he's got some depths under it), and he's not really the kind of character that does anything for me anyway. That all added up to a general apathy at first, but for some reason that supervolcano episode in season two turned apathy into active dislike. The way he decided that the situation was just going to go his way, physics, timing and all sane decision making be damned, just did not agree with me. I find him bland, arrogant, and uncaring of how his actions affect others.

And yes, I realise most of those are equally true of McKay, Rodney just has other attributes that I find interesting enough to counteract it.

I completely agree with this, although I hate McKay too. I gave up on Atlantis when one of the only three characters I could stand (Ronan, Teyla, Elizabeth) was killed and it became the McKay and Shepherd show.

McKay isn't my favourite either, though I do like him. My favourites were Ronon, Teyla and Radek. I hated John, Carson annoyed me, Ford never really got to do anything, and I never really connected with Elizabeth. I lasted until about S4 of the show, though I stuck around fandom a bit longer in search of any fics shipping any combination of Rodney, Ronon, Radek and Teyla.

I'm read a lot of McShep but I never really shipped it just because I couldn't see it. It was such a huge pairing and I'm looking for the shippy moments and just not seeing them at all.

Count me in for McShep. I get it, but Sheppard was just such a douche to McCay.
