The sequel to Leslie Fish's Shelter (often cited as either/both the original K/S fic (although technically it was S/K) or the original "slash" fanfic), was a fic called Poses, and in that one, if I remember correctly, Spock had crotch tentacles.

Well, kinda. His penis looked like a cross between an orchid and a "great green anthurium."

Shelter wasn't the very first slash fanfic, though. That was "A Fragment out of Time" which was published two years earlier.
