I agree about Valinor fic. I like fluffy endings and it seems like the solution to a lot of Middle-earth's tragedies can be found in being reborn or journeying to Valinor.

I've loved Elrond/Celeborn since I first got into LOTR, and I've grown to really like Elrond/Celebrian too. I'd love to see more about them and their families settling into Valinor (especially the twins - I feel strongly that Celeborn would haul the twins to Valinor with him). And the politics of Valinor leave a lot of interesting stories to explore.

No interest in Galadriel though.

Yes to Valinor fics. Especially Elrond in Valinor fics (because there would be happy reunions and angst about losing Arwen at the same time). Also I want Valinor fics of all the Silm characters who died horribly. I do love my angst but I also love my happy endings.

This is really random, but my sister cosplays as Galadriel, so I always feel oddly defensive when someone puts down Galadriel, as if they're dissing my sister.

I can see that. I have characters I feel defensive about. I can certainly understand why others like Galadriel, and I'd never tell them they're wrong.

I'm just not a fan. :)
