I could get the argument that Peter is annoying, but boring????????? Have you ever actually read a Spider-Man comic, or have you only watched the Rami movies where he, like, doesn't make jokes at all and has no super-fun relationship with MJ and stuff?

What? We're talking about a reboot - therefore nothing to do with the other spider-man movies, but about the source material (which is ongoing, not old). And we're talking about the comics wrt to Miles.
